We Welcome Your Suggestions…

October 22, 2009

beauty sleep is a good thing.

As you wiley Royal Pet Club members have probably noticed, our elegant blog is up and running. And we are most definitely not napping on the job! (like some other furry creatures we may or may not know…)

We view our blog and our website as a community, like a co-op, where our members are welcome to give us feedback and make suggestions on how to improve the site (and our shiny new blog).

For now, simply leave a comment at the end of whatever blog entry takes your fancy and we’ll get on to it!

And keep on checking in with us daily for updates on the Royal Pet Club, hints and tips on having a healthier and happier pet, competitions, news and gossip about the animal world, and the antics of Bond, star of our hit Internet show, America’s Next Top Dog.

Of course, there’ll be more. Keep your eyes peeled for the Marvin Chronicles, a blog within a blog about the wisdom, views and life of a shiny black cat. And Happa, the royal Italian Greyhound will also be making his blog-mark.

And because we believe in healthy, happy cats and dogs, we believe in making sure the highest quality organic luxury pet products are made available to them. In supplements, toys, organic pet treats, luxury grooming pet supplies, we believe that not only are our bodies our temples, but we’re in charge of our pets bodies, too. They deserve to have their little bodies treated as temples of the highest degree, so we would love you to check out the Royal Pet Club, and if there’s something you want and it’s not there, then let us know and we’ll tell our resident prince, Lorenzo Borghese.

A huge animal lover and believer in quality is best, Lorenzo (creator of the Royal Pet Club and its phenomenal products) is open to bringing the world purity and quality in products for pets. And we welcome your suggestions.

See you soon.

Did You Know…?

October 22, 2009

oh, we knew that!!!

Most people think dogs are colour blind, but they’re not! So you better stop putting your dog in the lime green and hot pink romper suit, I think he’s embarrassed…

Seriously, dogs aren’t colour blind. They simple don’t see colour as well as us humans, it’s sort of like how well we see colour at dusk or when it’s raining hard.

Hmmm…maybe your dog doesn’t mind that romper suit…

Grooming Your Dog…

October 22, 2009

woof. good dog.

Let’s all be honest. Our pets are not accessories or something there to make us look and feel good (although, they do that all the time). They’re our children.

If you’re reading this, you’re most definitely not the type of person to let your kid run around like a feral child in a commune. And you’re most certainly not going to do that to your dog!

Unfortunately, unlike a cat, dogs don’t have an inbuilt cleansing system, so they do need baths.

Groomers are all well and good, but in these economic times, groomers should be saved for those special pampering times (like you do when you decide to visit the beauty salon for a good old fashioned luxurious overhaul).

So what should you do?

We say go the DIY route.

Luxury dog pet supplies abound, and some are pricier than others. Sure you could go for the cheapest or the most expensive, but often you find they’re full of unneeded ingredients that don’t help your pet.

A good, high quality set of luxury pet grooming products can be found. These are the kind of products that are natural and organic and contain nothing but fantastic ingredients that do your dog well. In fact, we’re for the products you want to use on yourself because the results are so good…

Once you’ve got your products, set up a time for bathing and grooming. It should become a regular part of your routine with your dog, and always, always reward him for his fantastic behaviour.

Gentle hands, all tools you need should be set up prior to bathtime, and a soothing voice are the three best tips you need to make the grooming smooth and easy.

Best of all, you get a clean, shining, happy dog, one that not only looks good, but feels good, too. And you get to save money from less visits to the groomer.

Check out the fantastic products Prince Lorenzo Borghese has on offer at his royal pet club. You’ll be glad you did.
