Sensitive Dog?

October 30, 2009

why yes, I AM wearing jewels...as is only befitting...

There is a saying that all men are born equal. And then there’s the cynical counterpoint claiming that no, they’re not and that’s why we have the alphas and the epsilons (read up on your Brave New World, people…).

Of course, then there are dogs.

Dogs, as we know are all adorable and loving and amazing creatures. Every single one of them deserves a fantastic home.

But we also know that not all of them were born ‘equal’. Some dogs who are meant to come from a breed that doesn’t shed or suffer from allergies and skin ailments can be affected by all of the above. While other members of ‘delicate’ breeds can be the most robust pup on the block.

However, if you end up with a sensitive dog (also known as the ‘princess and the pea’ situation), all is not lost.

Not even close.

We say, look at diet closely.  Switch to as close as an all-natural diet as possible, use organic, natural pet supplements and make sure your dog’s grooming routine treatments are top of the line.

Top of the line means luxury, yes. It means natural, most certainly. It means organic, we hope so. It means quality, absolutely.

Top of the line should never mean you need to mortgage your home just to relieve any skin issues and skin irritants in your dog. Because a good product does the job, not break the bank.

It simply means finding the right product that has been designed just for dogs, especially sensitive dogs… Sure it should be stuff you can use, too, but it should never have been designed for humans.

And it exists. Quality, high end, organic, luxury pet supplies that not only treat any skin issues with your sensitive dog, but also soothes and makes him feel like royalty.

So get out there (or online) and find what’s best for your beloved pooch.

Love should never come with a high price tag. It should come from the heart.

Did You Know?

October 30, 2009

why yes, yes I did...

That a bunch of kittens (usually to be found in a litter) is actually called a kindle?

This has nothing at all to do with the handheld device that allows you to read books electronically.

Also, a group of cats is called a clowder. The word ‘clowder’ has nada to do with either delicious chowder or clowns. Historically it seems to be linked with the words ‘crowd’, ‘cluster’, and ‘clump’.

One single cat is always, always in charge.

Now we have that sorted, what on Earth does it mean by a ‘murder’ of crows?

Suggestions are welcome.
