Not only was today the 4th of July, but it’s also Koko the gorilla’s 39th birthday!
If that’s not a reason to really enjoy the fireworks then I don’t know what is.
Koko is the amazing gorilla who can understand and sign around 1,000 words and understand around 2,000 English words. So, Koko, happy birthday, and here’s to you helping save your wonderful species.
