When a mama tiger’s premature litter died, she became ill. The vets realised she was mourning the loss of her cubs, and to try and bring her back to health, they tried to find other cubs she could raise.
There were no other cubs of the right age available.
The only motherless litter was a weaning litter of piglets.
The piglets were wrapped in tiger ‘skins’ and placed around the mother…and yes, she adopted them as her very own.
We love amazing and heart-warming stories like this one. Makes us realise there are many miracles and much goodness to be found in this world, and even a small act of kindness or taking a risk can reap the most amazing rewards.
