What a great way to start the weekend!

When 97 year old Sophie Thomas was attacked by 4 pit bulls from next door, her brave little kitty, Tiger, jumped into the mix and ran off, getting the dogs to chase her. This brave act gave Sophie enough time to get inside to safety.

Luckily, Tiger was too smart for the dogs and reappeared at the door a few minutes later.

Sophie says Tiger saved her life.

The dog’s owner claims they were just playing, but let me say this: dogs don’t bite and attack in packs if they’re just playing. It comes down to the old adage: train your dog properly and don’t let them go out in packs. No matter what the breed. This situation could have had a tragic ending for Sophie, Tiger and the dogs.

All hail Tiger, who proves yet again how fantastic cats are… And all hope the owner of the dogs wises up and gets her pets the training they so sorely need. A dog is an amazing pet, but does need training and care. Remember, it’s your responsibility, not only for the life of the person affected by your pets actions, but for the pet itself.
