The Rockin’ Horse event is to be held at the Hamilton Farm Golf Club, and it should be an awesome time.

Personally I love these kind of soirees. It’s going to be gorgeous and fun with lots of hobnobbing (in denim and diamonds, no less!), and fab music courtesy of Daddy NoBux and Eric Hayes. Of course, no soiree worth its salt would be without delicious food and this one has a buffet dinner (the best), with drinks and both a silent auction and myriad auctions throughout the night! And there will be dancing!

But that’s not really why I love these things – I love these things because you get to have an amazing time, living it up, rubbing shoulders with some of the finest royalty we know (hint: Borghese!), and you’re doing it for a simply wonderful cause!

Animals!

In this particular case, it’s for horses, and the event is fundraising money for the Mylestone Equine Rescue. Which is great. Because while most of us worry about dogs and cats, there are so many beautiful and intelligent horses that need help, and Mylestone offers the abused, neglected or otherwise deemed ‘unadoptable’ horses a loving and safe home for the rest of their lives.

All animals deserve the right to a happy, safe and peaceful life, and so many horses are treated terribly. So if you can make it, go and have fun, and help some beautiful horses live their lives the way they were meant to: majestically.

The event is September 10, 19.00 to 23.30,at the gorgeous Hamilton Farm Golf Club.
