This is Harbor. He’ll be in the 2012 Guinness Book of World Records for being the dog with the world’s longest ears. Harbor, a black and gold Coonhound used to trip on his ears while walking when a mere pup – because of his extra-long ears!
How long do a dog’s ears have to be to make it into the esteemed Guinness Book of World Records? Well, they’d have to beat 13.5 inches – that’s his right ear. The left ear comes in at the shorter 12.25 inches.
His ears are very pretty, like the doggy version of piggy-tails (but all natural!). And he looks like a happy, sweet dog, too. And very shiny! Hmmm, I wonder if Harbor uses Royal Treatment’s range of organic dog shampoos to make him shine like that?
Anyway, the Guinness Book of Records 2012 is packed full of all kinds of interesting and fascinating things, you should get your copy soon!
