Alaskan Husky Hamster Exercise Wheel!

This is the cutest video to make us all feel ashamed into exercising.

Alaskan husky has his own hamster wheel for dogs and he loves it! It does what lazy human owners can’t – give the dog a fantastic workout. Now, I’ve walked dogs that love to run and not walk when you go on walks. Because apparently some dogs don’t understand the meaning of the word walk. Walk, doggies, does not mean run.

If I had the dog hamster wheel, all would be good. We’d have electricity and a fit dog. But then I’d be really fat because I’d just be standing holding the leash.

Of course, this is all moot since I have a cat that thinks burrowing under the covers and hibernating for a few hours is a good time.

I digress. Here’s an adorable dog running in a dog size hamster wheel.

DJ Dawg Shows How It’s DONE!

Hey, it’s Saturday night, it’s 30 minutes to midnight, which means those of us who aren’t old and decrepit (that would be me) are dolling ourselves up, listening to some tunes and getting ready to head out for a night on the town (the cool way, which is around midnight). So what better time to show you how it’s really done. The cool you and I would like to own, that is.

DJ Dog here has that total nonchalant-I-couldn’t-care-less attitude down to an absolute science. Someone award that dog a Nobel prize in absolute cool.

If you ARE going out tonight, please spare the occasional thought of me, sitting at home, toiling away over the computer, writing and creating things for your entertainment. I’m also making stock for an incredible soup that will be put together tomorrow. Mr Marvin the cat, who is quite often as cool as DJ Dog lost his cool when it came to demanding ham I was slicing off the shoulder of ham I bought. Mind you, kitty doesn’t beg, he demands. And demands. And demands.

Perhaps someone needs to do a mashup of Black Ham Demanding Cat and Too Cool For School DJ Dog video. You know it would be awesome.

Cute Little Doormouse Snores

This is one little doormouse with a really big snore. He kind of reminds me of my cat when he sleeps (except my cat is furrier, bigger – way, way, way, way bigger – blacker, and quite possibly more evil -although evil in a good way – ), what with all those noises.

I can also see, apart from everyone watching this saying ‘awww’ to themselves (or loudly, depending whether you’re alone, with people, or simply don’t care), that that is one damned happy and content little doormouse, one who’s very comfy with the hand upon which he’s sleeping.

That’s another difference between the doormouse and my cat: if my cat was to fit into the hand of a human type person that easily, then that human type person would have to be a giant.

N2 The Talking Cat

Now, apparently this is episode 8 of season 2 of this singing/talking cat internet show. So, no, I have absolutely no idea what’s going on. No idea at all. Except that it might make you want to hug your pet close and whisper soothing words into his/her ear, or maybe make you drink huge quantities of booze, or maybe rejoice at the bizarreness of it all.

I have no idea. I’m bamboozled.

I don’t know why a Siamese cat is zooming about in his rather cheap (but magic and flying! yes, flying!!) blue litter box, or why Transformer dogs are chasing him in their cushy beds, or why we get to spell out S-I-A-M-E-S-E  K-O-N-A  C-A-T.

Basically, it’s Sesame Street on crack. I think it’s crack. No, actually, I’m betting it’s Sesame Street on Catnip.

That explains everything.

Oh, and please, will some brave soul go and watch all the episodes and report back? Thank you.

Guilty Dawg

Now I know this video has been circling the interwebs for quite some time, but I never saw it (maybe it was an evil kitty, or doggy, or gerbil, or spider that hid this from me!)…until now!

I think this video is pretty awesome. However, I have some questions: 1)Where and WHO are the kitties in question – were they maybe setting up young Denver? 2) Personally, I think Denver’s a bit of a player. He tried to pretty much move nonchalantly through the whole interrogation, but decided when it was time to just call it a day and go into the dog (dawg) house for a peaceful night’s sleep. 4)Maybe, just maybe Denver did all this because of question number one!!!

Do you see how complicated this is?

Of course, I haven’t researched this further, because I wanted to get this straight to everyone as soon as possible (yes, I do rule. It’s a thing).

So watch this cute video, enjoy the fact the week will soon be over and the weekend can begin!
