Teddy Hopes You All Had A Happy New Year!

January 2, 2012

Remember Teddy, the chattery, corn-nomming porcupine? Well, he was back for a New Year’s feast of corn, corn, corn, chatter and more corn!

As I think most of you have today off (how on Earth does industry survive, with no one there to tend to it?), it seems time to relive your memories of your holidays, try and piece together whatever happened on Saturday night (suggestion: don’t try too hard, you may not really want to know), and relax a little more before harnessing the old work horse for tomorrow and the rest of the week.

So here’s Teddy, getting greedy with the corn, getting drunk off the corn, and knocking over bottles and glasses and things. Yes, this is probably what you looked like on NYE.

Teddy Bear The Porcupine Sez ‘It’s Mine!’

December 4, 2011

It’s almost Monday, which is depressing to many of us out there because Monday means the first day of toiling away at our job for the next 5 days. To counter this, I’m bringing you an adorable dose of cuteness (that’s at least double or even triple digits cuteness) in the form of Teddy Bear the Porcupine.

Teddy Bear was given a treat – a cob of corn – but he most definitely doesn’t like to share. And quite right, too! Who gives a treat and then tries to take it back when you’re mid-chomp?

Yes, that’s Teddy Bear actually talking, and it sounds like he’s actually speaking (porcupines sound like that when they ‘talk’). He’s definitely saying ‘it’s mine!” “my corn!” And he’s definitely letting her know what’s what, who the corn belongs to, and how impolite (rude!) it is to try and take the corn off an honest, hard-workin’ North American Porcupine.

So let this little slice of uber cuteness ease you into the week to come!

Enjoy!!

(thanks, zooniversity1 for the fantastic video.)
