Dogs Hard At Work

Well, technically it’s one dog that’s hard at work working a real job (being the secretary, or the gopher, or the receipt giver, or something along those lines) in what I think is a vet’s office.

And it’s not like it’s slave labour, either, seeing that the dog gets a nice treat for his hard work.

But I feel for the one tagging along, looking all concerned and anxious, as if he’s trying to let us know A) he can do the job, too, if you you just give me a chance! C’mon, c’mon, puleeze give me a chance! B) Hey, look at me, I’m here too! and C) I’m cute, I’m friendly, and where’s my treat? Why don’t I get a treat. Sad face.

Seriously, I think that’s what that dog is trying to communicate. What do you think?

Cute Little Doormouse Snores

This is one little doormouse with a really big snore. He kind of reminds me of my cat when he sleeps (except my cat is furrier, bigger – way, way, way, way bigger – blacker, and quite possibly more evil -although evil in a good way – ), what with all those noises.

I can also see, apart from everyone watching this saying ‘awww’ to themselves (or loudly, depending whether you’re alone, with people, or simply don’t care), that that is one damned happy and content little doormouse, one who’s very comfy with the hand upon which he’s sleeping.

That’s another difference between the doormouse and my cat: if my cat was to fit into the hand of a human type person that easily, then that human type person would have to be a giant.

meow monday: cuteness overload as kitten nuzzles fawn

It’s Monday morning, for oh, another few minutes, so I thought I’d slip this in for a great am start to the week, but it works perfectly for some afternoon awws, too.

The above pic was taken in the Ukraine, at the Odessa zoo.

If you’re asking yourself what kind of zoo has a domestic cat as one if its animals on display, they don’t. The little ginger kitty is the zoo’s pet cat. Yes, the zoo has a domestic cat to keep them company, and quite possibly the mice away (although let’s hope kitty isn’t allowed near any of the bird or the small mammal enclosures….).

People stopped and awwed at the love between the little baby deer and the ginger cat. Kitty apparently wandered up to the fawn, they said hello, then both settled in for a sleep.

Sooo cute!

Cookie The Baby Penguin…To Launch Your Week Right!

I’ll admit it, I want my very own baby penguin… Even if I haven’t always been a fan of penguins, I’d still want one.

This is extreme cuteness, so be warned. Mind you, if you’re on a diet, every time you want something really sweet, just watch this, it should end all cravings.

Dandelion Attack Puppy!

But not only a puppy – it’s a puppy attempting to attack a dandelion. Evil dandelion, it needs to be killed, now!
