Tonight, Help Lorenzo Save The Horses!

May 3, 2012

Tonight, Lorenzo will be attending a cocktail party benefit in aid of one his great passions – horses! We all know how Lorenzo is dedicated to helping animals; in particular the house pet kind, but he’s equally passionate about those majestic creatures, horses.

The event hosted by NYCLASS, will be held at Tribeca Three Sixty (10 Desbrosses Street), from 7 to 11, with drinks, all vegan nibblies, a silent auction and dancing! (Hey, you never know, maybe you can score a dance with Lorenzo..)

Tickets are available at the door, with a discount for those under 30 (can you get some reverse fake ID, I wonder…I kid, I kid…never do that for good causes!).

The event is in aid of bringing about the end of horse carriages in NYC. The horseless carriage movement wants to end the cruel practice of having horses in busy Manhattan, and put the horses where they belong: in a lovely field where they’re away from the soot, smog, and dangers of city life, where they can run free.

Click here to learn more about it and to buy tickets. We hope to see you there tonight.

The Hero Dog Awards – Lorenzo Will Be A Judge

September 26, 2011

Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be a costume parade, with dogs having to dress up as super heros!

Presented by Cesar pet food, The American Humane Association is honouring the hero dogs in our society who do so much.

Whether they work in rescue, as therapy dogs or guide dogs or for law enforcement, these dogs work tirelessly each day to not only keep us safe, but help us in so many ways.

The competition is a way to bring awareness, give thanks and raise money to help these dogs continue their good work. Click here for all the details!

Best of all, Prince Lorenzo Borghese will be flying to LA to take part in judging the finalists. And he’ll be in fine company with Whoopi Goldberg, Victoria Stilwell and the wonderful Betty White!

The winners will be announced live at a star studded gala on October 1st in LA, so if you’re in the area, please buy a ticket, have fun and help some dogs.

Lorenzo’s Starting The Humane Society Walk With A Bang!

September 15, 2011

And you should join him if you can!

This Sunday, from 9 until noon, is a fabulous Walk Humane event in Montauk - the event is a way for people or groups to raise money and bring awareness (and help) the plight of homeless pets.

But to launch the whole shebang in Montauk is the gorgeous beneficial cocktail reception at the Montauk Yacht Club, which is nice, because every charity walk should start with a little party – it makes things so much more fun, accessible, far reaching and appealing…not to mention a party puts everyone in a good mood.

And Lorenzo will be there. In Person. In Montauk. Personally I feel like it’s going to be an uplifting version of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. But with animals, and fun, and none of the gorgeous angst and existential questions, but in Montauk…see?

Anyway, Lorenzo is attending the reception tomorrow night at the Montauk Yacht Club, and if any of you pet loving, Royal Treatment adoring, Royal Pet Clubateers want to go along, hang with Lorenzo and help homeless pets, then click here to find info on tickets.

Lorenzo says he hopes to see you there.

Last Chance To Mingle With Lorenzo & Reality TV, & For A Cause!

August 1, 2011

This coming Saturday night (August 6, 2011) Lorenzo will be attending the fab soiree, the 4th Annual Martinis for Mutts event at the private home of Ruth Katz, from 6-9 PM in Bridgehampton, NY.

Personally, that’s more than enough to float my boat – saving pets, cocktails, handsome prince-es, gorgeous homes to peek in, but for those of you that need more than just helping raise money for a good cause like the Last Chance Animal Rescue org, everyone will also be celebrating Frank Cilione’s birthday, eating delicious food & drinking signature cocktails by Elegant Affairs Caterers, sipping upon wines from Astor wines, and admire the decor by Darryn Murphy Design.

Of course, it’s not just about helping cats and dogs live the lives they deserve, but it’s about meeting like minded people, like Lorenzo Borghese, Ruth Katz,┬áBrad Boles, Anna Rothschild and Devorah Rose in association with Social Life Magazine, not to mention enjoying artist Lauren Amaris singing “Dreaming American”.

Sounds fabulous? Of course, absolutely! You get to help give cats and dogs a chance at a forever home, rub shoulders with fascinating people, and have a great time (and maybe be on reality TV!). What are you waiting for? Get your ticket now!

It only costs $125 (oh, did we mentioned this event will appear on the reality show “Party Mamas”!?!), but tickets are running out.

So, click HERE to get a ticket.

To learn more about the wonderful Last Chance Animal Rescue, click here.

If you can’t make it, or afford it, that’s okay. You can still do something to help animals in need. Fine out more about your local animal shelters. Donate money, time, food, or spread the word to other people. Click on the above link to help out Last Chance Animal Rescue, or find another shelter to help out. And remember, even the smallest donation counts.

Meanwhile, to those who are going: have a fantastic time, and thank you, for helping the animals.

bond’s blog: My Week

May 26, 2010

Hello everyone! This past week has been very full. There were dinners, naps, more naps, funraising, runs in the park, some bird-chasing, a date, rolling in the mud, delicious baths (I love baths!), and adoptapalooza with my pal, Lorenzo!

Today I’m have a bit of a rest, but I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out and supported the very noble cause of finding my cat and dog friends new homes! They’re all fantastic and they all need a loving home (and just think of how much love you’ll be getting back in return!)

Lorenzo looked very spiffy showcasing the dogs in the mornings and the cats, well, they didn’t need any help. They sat in their cages looking all regal and cat-like.

There were games, raffles, prizes and more celebrities than you could shake a stick at!

This week I need your help! You know I’m a staunch advocate of Royal Treatment products. Not only are they specially formulated to help doggy skin and fur (how else do you think I manage to stay looking this good? It’s all natural, baby), but these luxurious products for dogs are natural and organic, made from the very best ingredients Lorenzo could find!

But you shouldn’t take my word for it! If you haven’t tried them, sign up for a free sample! If you have, then leave us some feedback on the product page. We’d love to hear from you!

Til next time!
