Join Edie Falco & Lorenzo For The Animal Haven Benefit June 7

June 4, 2012

On June 7, Prince Lorenzo Borghese and friends will be taking part in the 2nd annual Animal Haven benefit, ‘Performance for the Animals’. TV star Edie Falco will be there and music will be provided by Matt White.

The event is to be held at the City Winery on 155 Varick Street. You can choose to attend the special VIP wine tasting first (held from 6.30 til 7.30) or just go with the flow of general admission, which is from 7.30 til 10pm.

Performance for the Animals is not only celebrating over 10,000 pet adoptions, but to raise money to celebrate at least 10,000 more.

Like all good causes Lorenzo attaches himself to, this one also has its fair share of fun. There’ll be cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, great music and company and an auction.

Lorenzo hopes to see you there. For more information, or to get your ticket, either go toAnimal Haven, or call212 274 8511.

Prince Lorenzo Borghese Attending 2nd Chance Benefit Tonight – Will You?

March 27, 2012

That’s right, everybody’s favourite prince is attending the American Humane Association’s Second Chance Fund fundraiser this evening, and you’re invited along!

The event is at the Ainsworth at 122 W26th Street in Manhattan, and is a wonderfully affordable fundraiser (with lots of fun to be had!). The suggested donation is $10 at the door, and if you get thirsty, there’s half off the specialty cocktail menu and a $4 Paige amber ale! Music is by DJ Friendly Greg and the art show is by animal portraitist Amanda Mikelberg.

So if you’re in Manhattan, between 7-9 this evening, go along and have some fun with Lorenzo and raise some money for animals in need. It’s a pretty fantastic deal, don’t you think?

Lorenzo hopes to see you there.

Home For The Holidays…With Lorenzo!

December 6, 2011

Join Prince Lorenzo Borghese this Saturday night (12/10/11) for fun, festivities, cocktails (all the holiday trimmings!), and cat and dog adoptions.

The event, held at 228 West 28th St (between 8th and 9th Avenues) is not only to raise awareness for homeless cats and dogs and raise money, but it’s to find a home for 30 cats and 25 dogs, because they all deserve to find a home and get to be in that home for the holidays.

Tickets are a mere $20 each, so rally yourself and your friends, and join Lorenzo in helping these loving animals find their forever home. After all, didn’t you always want to be Santa (admit it, you did – the whole sleigh and reindeer at your command, getting free drinks, cookies and cakes at every home….bringing joy to kids the world around…as jobs go, it’s pretty good, even if you do have to wear a long white beard and perhaps a pillow tummy under the red suit…)? Well, now you can.

Tickets are available at celebritycatwalk.com, and are tax deductible. The event starts at 6pm and ends at 10pm, so you’ll be able to attend and paint the town Santa red afterwards!

So do yourself a favour (and those little cats and dog who are searching for a home), and buy your ticket tonight. Lorenzo is looking forward to seeing you. Spread the word.

AC&C’s Animal Care Affair 50s Gala

November 1, 2011

Our very own Prince Lorenzo Borghese will be attending Animal Care and Control’s upcoming Gala, to be held at the Union Square Ballroom in NYC on November 3.

The Gala, a real sock hop, is from 6.30 until 9.30, and 50s attire is a must. There will be cocktails, a buffet, dancing and a silent auction. You can purchase tickets here, or make a donation, or even become a sponsor.

The evening is not only going to be an evening of fun, and of rubbing shoulders with stars like Lorenzo, people who really care about animals.

So hopefully you can make it, or if you can’t, you can make a donation of any sort. These animals deserve and need all the help we can provide for them. Check it out, now.

Join Lorenzo Tomorrow @ The Annual ‘My Dog Loves Central Park Country Fair’

September 23, 2011

Yes, tomorrow is the 9th annual My Dog Loves Central Park Country Fair, held in the Naumburg Bandshell (mid park, at 72nd Street). The fun event will run from 11 – 3pm.

The event, run by the Central Park Conservancy, celebrates all dogs and owners of all ages and the park itself. The event is a fun way to meet other dogs and owners from New York, and a way to feel more connected to the Park. It’s free, too!

And, our very own Prince Lorenzo Borghese will be there!

What can you expect at the park tomorrow?

The Examiner will tell you:

  • The Best in Park Dog Show under the direction of David Muriello of Bisquits & Bath. Dogs and owners who show good dog behavior in three preliminary rounds throughout the day will compete for the title of 2011 Best in Park Dog at 2:30 pm.
  • Games and Contests hosted by emcee Jeremy Johnson on the Bandshell stage where dogs can “strut their stuff”, to be judged by NY dog scene celebrity judges.
  • A Top Tips Tent, where experts will offer demonstrations and advice on a range of topics.

Also includes an agility course, giveaways, canine good citizen testing, microchipping, vendor booths and much more!

Lorenzo hopes to see you there.
