Animals ‘Round The Watercooler

Upi.com posted their odd stories for discussion around the watercooler yesterday, and we’re giving you the link so you and your pets can make interesting small talk while having a spa day, or grooming session with your favourite Royal Treatment product.

Grooming and at-home spa sessions are the animal equivalent of the watercooler.

The stories of course feature everyone’s favourite cow on the lam, Yvonne. That’s all we’re saying because we’ll be bringing you Yvonne’s update later in her very own article (because she deserves it).

There’s the tale of the chimps breaking into the zoo kitchen, Llamas loving air conditioning, and a reptile hoarder.

Baby It’s Haute Outside…

It is hot outside, so we decided to be lazy on this day after Independence Day by showing you a cool item re-shown on Haute or Not Pets!

Yes, it’s pretty much a win-win situation for all involved.

While we’ll let the haute staff at Haute or Not Pets give you the full (and excellent) run down here (click, you know you want to…), we’ll just chime in and say this simple collar allows your dog to cool down in hot hot summer weather. Which is pretty haute, and that makes it really cool.

Let’s Start The Week Off Right!

Now, I don’t know what dance little El Willy is doing there, but I’m pretty sure he learned all his moves from me (I don’t know why the cat is giving me a disbelieving side eye…cats can be so, so cruel).

What I meant to say is that little dancing dog is pretty good, and the tune is quite catching, but he needs a bit of flare, some sparkle, and perhaps a treat!

But this does make you smile and make you happy, and so it’s a great way to start the week.

So, shake your tails, people!

Does Your Dog Need Clothing?

Okay, before we get onto this subject, I just want to say the much anticipated ZiwiPeak cat food review is postponed until tomorrow. Marvin is writing it himself and right now he’s having a nap (hey, it’s hard out there for a black cat who has to wear blue bandages like a little shirt). So, on to dogs and clothing.

People love to dress their dogs up in all kinds of outfits. Dogs seem more willing to wear clothes than cats (Marvin is humiliated by the bandage thing, but that’s what he gets for licking an old, old wound bare and making it all raw…), but if you’re trying to justify your dog-outfit spending to a spouse, or you want to know if you should be dressing up your pooch come the colder weather, then read this interesting article from bloggydoggies.com.

Let’s face it, in this economy, we all need a reason to buy some fancy duds, even if those duds are for our dog!

Any rumours floating about that we’re obsessed with Haute or Not Pets are simply not true. It’s not our fault that for the second day in a row they’ve had something fab on their site (of course, like us, they always have something fab on their site), but today we’re definitely sending you over to read first hand all about this cake mix that has every dog I know howling for a slice.
