People will never fail to astound me for both the selfless and the unfathomably cruel things they’re capable of…
Take for example, this adorable dog, who some (insert expletive of choice here, please) person abandoned during the New York snow storm this week. Abandoned, I think we can say with certainty, to die. Don’t worry, I kind of wish someone would do the same to the owners, even for a few hours, just to make them understand the horrifically cruel thing they did.
Luckily some good samaritan found the dog and is giving her temporary shelter. The dog, a female is a pit bull, and as we know it’s hard to find a home for a pit bull.
She’s been given a clean bill of health and is sweet, friendly, great with people, and not a barker. The vet estimates she’s around 1-2 years old and she knows some commands. I think I need to repeat: she’s a sweet dog in temperament and friendly.
As of writing this, she still hasn’t found a home, and no no kill shelters can take her. Her rescuer can’t keep her, and really doesn’t want to have to take her to a kill shelter, which is the only option if he can’t find her a home.
If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet dog, or know someone who does, or can just simply help spread the word, please do.
