Jedi Turtles Return!

May 4, 2012

I admit it, I didn’t even know there was an original Jedi Turtles. Me bad. However, I’ll be rectifying that asap.

In the meantime, why don’t you sit back, relax (maybe line up some original Star Wars fun – but none of that JarJar Binks malarky, okay?), and enjoy Jedi Turtles.

What’s doubly awesome about this is (if you’re in anyway geeky, nerdy, or a Star Wars fan) today is apparently Star Wars Day – May the 4th be with you.

That’s right.

May the 4th be with you.

Amazing.

So, so, corny, nerdy and brilliant, all in one fell swoop. And there are turtles! Turtles battling it out, Jedi style.

Enjoy.

Star Wars Dogs

March 20, 2012

A while back we had Star Wars cat, and he was pretty darned awesome. This is something different. Because they’re dogs. Duh.

I think we can safely say these pups have watched Star Wars a number of times. Probably enough times that they’re comfortable with their cosplaying.

Some people have said it’s cruel to do this to these dogs, but seriously, I don’t think these dogs care. Besides, I know they’ve seen the embarrassing costumes and outfits some of their houndy friends down at the local dog park have been made to wear and are thanking Sirius the dog star for allowing them to look cool, and be part of the whole Star Wars phenomenon.

Both dogs and cats know: Star Wars is cool!

Cat Watches Star Wars

March 1, 2012

As promised, here is the second awesome cat video of the day. Yes, an adorable grey Scottish Fold kitty sits up and really watches Star Wars. Like, he’s totally into it.

This really is a complete win situation. It’s Star Wars (A New Hope…the first of the original trilogy, thank you very much), and I think it’s the dogfight in space over the Death Star.

Also, it’s a kitty who loves Star Wars!

My cat thinks he’s way too cool for school when it comes to anything other than beef, chicken, lamb, pork, duck, rabbit, venison, and fish. I’m sure there are other types of meat I’ve forgotten, or even types he hasn’t tried yet. It doesn’t matter. If it’s meat, Marvin will outdo this kitty with his excitement and near-Terminator like concentration. Of course, Marvin wouldn’t be quiet. No. He’d be meowing. Loudly, demanding some meat. And yes, I do buy extra beef and cut him up some and give it to him on a little plate. He’ll scarf it down, then come back and demand more.

Meat is like Star Wars to my cat.

Anyway, this is an awesome video. Go, Star Wars cat!

August 26, 2011

I know most of us along the East Coast is prepping for the coming onslaught of Hurricane Irene (hopefully, she’ll fizzle out, or head out to sea, but experts are saying don’t bet on it), and trying to either batten down the hatches or evacuate to a safer area, so I figured it was time for a mini break.

This video is perfect for a break in your preparations, because it’s really short, and really cute.

Who could go wrong with Jedi Kittens? It’s kittens and Jedi knights! Kittens and light sabers! Kittens and Star Wars! Totally awesome.

Oh, and no kittens were hurt in the making of the video. They were both rescue kittens, who were adopted when they were about to ‘die from eye infections and pre-mature birth’, according to Final Cut King who made the video. One kitten is better and the other is finishing off antibiotics. So yay for Final Cut King, and yay for the kittens!

If you’d like to see the behind the scenes making of, please click here!

And, if you’re in the path of Irene, stay safe! We’re going to bring you a what-to-do post in a few minutes.
